Our Deacons

Brad Alger (Deacon)

Brad was born and raised in Frederick, MD to Christian parents and settled in Berkeley County, WV in 2011. A naturally curious person, Brad has always been very interested in how things work and the purpose of each part. This drove him to a career in technology solutions and steadfast service in the church. As grey hair has grown with age, so also has the appreciation for the beauty of the triune God, the word, the church, and the family. Brad was married to his wonderful wife Kim in 2000 and is blessed with 3 sons: Noah, Uriah, and Philip (PJ).

Jon Dorminy (Deacon)

Jon was born an Ohio Buckeye but was transplanted by God's grace to Martinsburg WV in 2001. He works for the US Congress in their Printing Office in Washington DC, commuting daily by train. He has been serving God for over 35 years with a spiritual eye for seeing needs and finding solutions to meet them. He is a faithful friend and a fan of lively discussion. Married for almost 40 years to Denise, they have raised three children (Shanna, Jonathon and Lucas), all of them whole-heartedly following Christ. Jon is an enthusiastic grandfather of 9 above-average earthlings.
